ABOUT US

In 1962, a small group wanted to organize a Methodist Church in Placentia, California. Residents with a Methodist background were contacted and they held their first meeting in a garage. Since then our church has opened its door to people who seek the Gospel, who reach out to those in need and who enjoy fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ.

Kindness is the New Evangelism
At PUMC let’s become more aware of acts of kindness by making note of them and lifting them up.
Beginning September 2019, we will place a container in the Narthex for anyone to place a note in it telling of a random acts of kindness.  Something unplanned and incidental. No signature is necessary. During the service samples of “kindness” will be shared. We hope over time this can be a way to be aware of how good people really are.
