Pastor's Bible Study - Class Starts September 19th
This class will be about exploring our Social Principles and issues of Justice more deeply.
All are welcome and everyone will learn something new.
Pastor Broghan will be hosting the class via Zoom: 10am on Mondays or 7pm on Wednesdays
It is the same class, just offered at different times for different schedules. You don’t have to commit to all sessions, and you do not need to buy anything for the class. You don’t even have to show up to the same one each week.
Just show up when you are able, and invite a friend.
If you are not able to participate digitally, but would like to participate in the class, please contact Pastor Broghan.
We are working on an in-person class option for a small group who are unable to join digitally.
The space will be limited, due to safety reasons,
but if you would like to participate and Zoom won’t work,
please email or call Pastor Broghan at (909) 559-2767.
Pastor Broghan will email out the zoom invites each week for the classes to everyone.
No need to RSVP, just click and join in.
Food Drive for the Garnet Street Neighborhood
Food drop off days at Placentia UMC: Tuesday, September 1st & Wednesday, September 15th.
Please join us as we partner with Solidarity in conducting a food drive for families in the Garnet Street neighborhood who have been most heavily affected by the economic downturn during the pandemic.
Click here to find a shopping list that will help provide for the basic needs for one family for about two weeks.
The Missions and Outreach Team has estimated that it should cost about $100 to complete the list for one family.
If you would like to complete the list yourself and bring the food to the church,
then one of the church staff will take the food to Solidarity.
Thank you, Missions & Outreach Team
American Red Cross
Healthy Blood Donors Needed
Save your blood donations for Wednesday, November 4th
We are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a Blood Drive in our Fellowship Hall.
Since the pandemic has started, the Red Cross has found it more difficult to find spaces to host blood drives.
There is also an increased need for blood donors.
If you are a blood donor, we would love to have you sign up to donate in November.
If you aren’t, then we would love for you to share the information with your friends and in the community.
More details to follow about signing up.
We are now streaming our services, so you can watch from the comfort of your home or
wherever your travels take you when you are unable to join us.
